Kathie Lee Gifford Talks About Her Last Meeting With Regis Philbin

Kathie Lee Gifford had a feeling that she might have seen Regis Philbin for the last time when they met 2 weeks ago.

Regis Philbin passed away over the weekend at the age of 88.

Philbin and Gifford hosted Live! with Regis and Kathie Lee for years. Gifford was on Today Monday morning and said she recently hosted Regis and his wife Joy for lunch. Gifford recalled, “We just had the best time.” After they left, Gifford said, “I just thought to myself, ‘Lord, is that the last time I’m going to see my friend?’ Cause he was failing, I could tell.” Gifford said something told her to come back to the East Coast last week. As she arrived, she heard the news of Philbin’s passing. Kathie Lee visited Joy and other family members on Sunday.
