Our pets are part of the family. If they go missing or get lost, it is absolutely heart breaking! New technology called Finding Rover is making it much easier to reunite owners with their fur babies. 6ABC reported that The Brandwine Valley SPCA has partnered with Finding Rover and it will be available for families in our area! Users simply upload photos of their lost or found pets to findingrover.com. The system then uses facial recognition technology to match lost pets with found pets. Walter Fenstermacher, the director of programs at the BVSPCA, says the shelter has a 37% reunion rate among lost pets compared to the national average which is 17%.
