There was a significant jump in people flying over the 4th of July weekend. According to federal data from the TSA, the number of airline passengers jumped by 90 percent in the first 5 days of July as compared to a month ago. A daily average of 661,811 flyers passed through TSA checkpoints from July 1st to July 5th.  Still, that number is more than 70 percent lower than the first 5 days of July 2019. Airlines are struggling to attract customers as the pandemic continues.  Did you or someone you know fly for the 4th?
