Masks Are Required At All Times When In Rehoboth Beach
Tuesday, Governor Carney of Delaware ordered bars in Rehoboth Beach, Dewey Beach, and Lewes to close on Friday.
Health officials have also been urging anyone who frequently attends the beach, lives at the beach in a small setting, or works at the beaches, to get tested for the virus.
Officials with the city of Rehoboth Beach said they will require everyone to wear a face covering while on the beach and in all public places beginning Wednesday at 5pm.
This order includes all public streets, shops, sidewalks, parks, and the boardwalk.
Masks are not required in the ocean, but is required when not swimming.
As for now, Phase 3 of reopening in Delaware is postponed indefinitely.
People are to abide the guidelines in order to reduce the spread of the virus, so that businesses can successfully open again and remain open. A lack of social distancing and masks have caused outbreaks that have set back the phases of reopening.
