Angler Unexpectedly Hooks a 400 Pound Bull Shark While Fishing
A friend of Hollywood Kyle, our videographer here at WJBR, shared a video reeling in a 400 pound Bull Shark, fishing recently in Fort Myers, Florida. According to the young angler, Eric Bristol, pictured reeling the shark in in the video, “sharks must be swimming more inland in the waters of Fort Myers and surrounding areas.”
Despite the many reports of decreasing shark attacks in Florida, from this angler’s perspective, “sharks are close to shore and without traveling too far out, we had unexpectedly realized we had entered shark territory.”
This Bull Shark was estimated at 400 pounds. The shark was freed from the hook and released after catching it.
