Swimmer Catches Shark With Bare Hands At Cape Henlopen State Park
A swimmer at Cape Henlopen State Park Beach tried to catch a shark with his bare hands. In the video, you see him dragging the shark in shallow water. As people on the shore stand there in shock, the swimmer then opens the mouth of the shark! It seems like this guy pulled a ridiculous stunt for a photo/video op. Do not try this on your own! We don’t know what happened to the shark after the scene. In Delaware, fishermen and women must return them to the waters.
UPDATE: After initially posting this, we discovered that the swimmer was actually removing a fishing hook from the shark’s mouth and it was released into deeper waters.

Just a few weeks ago, a 12 year old boy suffered puncture wounds to his leg after surfing off of Herring Point. As the boy was recovering at the hospital, state and fisheries experts examined the bite to see if it was from a shark or a different creature.
