This Is How Long Americans Will Suffer The Heat Before Turning On The AC
Our thermostat habits and etiquette are important to us! New research suggests that half of Americans won’t date someone who didn’t have the same thermostat etiquette as them. One in four Americans have ended friendships because of it. The average American says 69 degrees Fahrenheit is the perfect indoor temperature. But this does not mean they’re turning on the AC right away. Apparently, it’s not an action to take lightly. The average American will torture themselves with five sleepless, sweaty nights before turning it on. 55% of those respondents say they feel defeated when they finally turn it on. One in seven people will put up with the heat until August before turning the AC on.
