Saturday Is The Deadline To Register To Vote In Delaware’s Primary
Saturday is the deadline to register to vote in Delaware for the upcoming primary election. The election is on July 7th. You can either register online at ivote.de.gov or call the Department of Elections. You must present ID with proof of address. However, It is too late to change your party affiliation. In-person voting will be available at a limited number of polling places. You can still apply for an absentee ballot here if you are unable to get to your polling place. The Department of Elections mailed absentee ballot applications to all registered Democrats and Republicans during the State of Emergency related to coronavirus. If you would rather vote by mail due to COVID-19, select ‘I am sick, or temporarily or permanently disabled’ on the application.
