Hockey may be returning in the next few weeks; in a press release, the NHL announced that formal training cames for the 24 teams resuming play will open on July 10, "provided that medical and safety conditions allow and the parties have reached an overall agreement on resuming play. The length of training camp and, therefore, the start date for [the] formal resumption of play will be determined at a future date."

According to ESPN, the NHL and the NHL Players Association have been negotiating on the details for Phase 3 (training camp openings) and Phase 4 (return to play), including the location of the two "hub" cities that would house 12 teams each, medical and safety protocols, accommodations and whether players will have interactions with their families during their quarantined stay in the "hubs."
