Fired Minneapolis Officer Arrested After Death of George Floyd

Derek Chauvin has been charged with third-degree murder and manslaughter, according to The Washington Post
The Minnesota officer seen on video with his knee on the neck of George Floyd has been taken into custody.
The Commissioner of the Minnesota Department of Public Safety announced former police officer Derek Chauvin has been arrested. No charges have been stated yet.
A press conference will be held this afternoon by Hennepin County Attorney Mike Freeman and charges will be discussed at that time.
The other three officers have not been arrested.
