Northern Delaware Will Be Featured on Discovery Channel Tomorrow (May 2nd)
You may recognize some of the attractions on tomorrow morning’s episode of Discovery Channel’s Road Trip Masters. Six northern Delaware attractions will be highlighted on the show! Road Trip Masters features schoolteachers Nick and Brian on their tour of small-town America in a 1968 gold drop-top Cadillac. In each episode, they get up close and personal with the people and places from the featured area.
The places that will be featured are Historic Houses of Odessa, Miller-Dunham House Bed & Breakfast, and Cantwell’s Tavern in Odessa. It will also feature Battle Axe in Newark, Fort Delaware in Delaware City and of course Hagley Museum & Library in Wilmington.
The Discovery Channel worked with the Greater Wilmington Convention & Visitors Bureau in 2019 to film the episode and line up interviews. The executive director, Sarah Willoughby said, “We were really thrilled when they decided to film our region and have been eagerly awaiting the air date. It was great to work with Historic Houses of Odessa and our other featured tourism partners on this project. It’s going to be a great episode.”
The episode airs tomorrow morning (May 2nd 2020) at 7 am on Discovery Channel.
