Costco Will Require Masks Starting Monday; Twitter Isn’t Happy
To prevent the spread of coronavirus in their stores, Costco will require all customers and employees to wear masks or other face coverings starting May 4th.
The requirement does not apply to children under the age of 2 or to people who are unable to wear a mask or face covering due to a medical condition, according to a Costco statement.
“The use of a mask or face covering should not be seen as a substitute for social distancing,” the statement reads. “Please continue to observe rules regarding appropriate distancing while on Costco premises.”
#costco. Trying to cancel my membership due to your idiotic mask requirement. Been on hold for 30+ minutes. You must be getting slammed with cancellations.
