Florida Woman goes Jogging in Unicorn Costume
Since stay-at-home orders were issued, one Florida woman has taken to wearing a unicorn costume when she goes jogging. And not only are her neighbors not afraid of her, they actually seem to like it. Tampa resident Corey Jurgensen, 40, says she’s been wearing the seven-foot inflatable costume to add some levity to an otherwise dismal situation. “I do it more for the adults than the kids,” Jurgensen says. “The adults are so stressed, worried about potentially losing their jobs and their kids being home. They need a laugh.” Jurgansen says she originally planned on donning the costume once or twice, but decided to continue when residents of her Seminole Heights neighborhood began clapping and cheering whenever she galloped past them. “There is nothing better than being a unicorn,” she says.
