With groomers closed in many areas, pet parents have needed to take on the task themselves. Those who have clipped their dog’s nails in the past, know what a nightmare that can be. But thankfully Lindsey Shelton has come up with a pretty ingenious way to painlessly pull it off. The 27-year-old ICU nurse wrapped her forehead with plastic wrap, then spooned on some peanut butter. With her dog Schmidt distracted, she was able to clip all of his nails. Despite her husband calling her a “dork” in the background of the TikTok video, Shelton, who fires back “I’m about to look like a genius!” tells BuzzFeed that she also was mostly successful with her other dog Murphy, finishing three paws.
