NEW YORK, NEW YORK - APRIL 15: A message written in chalk on the sidewalk outside Lenox Hill Hospital reads 'Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!' during the coronavirus pandemic on April 15, 2020 in New York City. COVID-19 has spread to most countries around the world, claiming over 134,000 lives lost with over 2 million infections reported. (Photo by Cindy Ord/Getty Images)

A Florida mom has been using chalk to spread some laughter and cheer in her community. Casey Drake is a former science teacher, mother of two and now a sidewalk artist. She’s been brightening up the streets of Winter Park with hilarious illustrations of Disney characters coping with social distancing. Casey was inspired to start drawing the cartoons after she saw other stories of people writing chalk messages of hope for passerby. She added that drawing has been therapy and stress relief for her as well.
