VIRAL: Man Eats Orange Like An Apple WITHOUT Peeling It

I can see why this went viral and I have so many questions. This veterinarian is eating an orange like an apple! He’s biting directly into the skin and flesh, rather than peeling it first. How does that even taste good? Is it safe to eat the skin? There are many correct ways to eat an orange: peeled, sliced, segmented, supremed, perhaps candiedand this is NOT one of them. Perhaps most surprisingly, the man featured in the video, Dr. Jeff Smith of Family Vet in Danville, Virginia, seems like an otherwise totally normal guy. He’s totally surprised when he’s called out for it too!
