Delaware Will Work With Regional States to Decide on Reopening
Delaware will join forces with neighboring states, including New York and Pennsylvania, to decide when to reopen schools, businesses, etc. New Jersey, Connecticut and Rhode Island will also be involved in these discussions.
Each state will be represented by a local public health official, economic development official and respective governor’s chief of staff.
As of today, Delaware has 1,625 confirmed cases and 35 deaths.
Carney said during the Monday press call that this working group will formalize the conversations he has had with governors in Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
