See How Far a Sneeze and Cough Can Travel
An animation was created by scientists that showed how far a sneeze and cough can travel. While coughing, fever and shortness of breath are the symptoms of COVID-19, the cough and sneezes are what causes the virus to spread quickly. In the animation shows droplets from a sneeze can travel up to 26 feet. A sneeze can produce 40,000 droplets that are released in the air and can linger for several minutes. The droplets can travel over barriers and can reach people that are not even in the same area as the person who sneezed. The animation shows why it’s so important to wear a mask to protect yourself and others. Wearing masks in public is the new normal, how do you feel about wearing a mask?
