If you’re the WWE and sign a five-year, $1 billion deal with FOX, you can loosen the purse strings when it comes to licensed music like the sports entertainment giant did last night (April 4) on night one of WrestleMania 36.
For the headlining “Boneyard Match” between AJ Styles and The Undertaker, viewers got to see the cinematic match complete with grand entrances, with the “American Badass” version of The Undertaker riding into the match on his motorcycle soundtracked by Metallica’s “Now That We’re Dead” from their 2016 studio album Hardwired…To Self-Destruct.
If this ends up being The Undertaker’s final WrestleMania match, what a way to go out.
