ChristianaCare Is Asking For Donations Of Medical Supplies
ChristianaCare is in need of medical supplies amid the Coronavirus crisis. They have opened a collection site to receive donations for health care workers. From today (3/25/20) until Friday (3/27/20) between 8 am and 6 pm, people can donate unused items to 110 W. Market Street in Newport. Donors are asked to remain in their vehicle with the windows up. Donations should be left in the trunk of their vehicle. Volunteers will unload the items. If you’re experiencing flu like symptoms, you should not come to this donation site.
ChristianaCare needs:
- All types of unused protective face masks, especially N95 masks.
- Protective suits and medical scrubs.
- Goggles, safety glasses and face shields.
- Cleaning and sterilizing solutions and wipes.
- Medical gloves.
- Digital and disposable thermometers.
- Hand sanitizers.
