Costco and BJ’s wholesale club have announced special hours for customers 60 and over.
- As of yesterday, March 22nd, BJ’s designated shopping hour for seniors is 8am-9 am everyday. There are 5 locations in Delaware.
- Beginning tomorrow, March 24th, on Tuesdays and Thursdays, Costco will dedicate 8-9 am to those 60 and older.
- Walmart is setting aside the hour before its stores open on Tuesdays for those 60 and over.
The CDC has advised seniors to stay home as much as possible, and this is an effort to control crowding. Wholesale clubs have seen a surge in business as restrictions spread due to the coronavirus outbreak.
