12-Year-Old Girl Fighting For Her Life After Coronavirus Diagnosis
A 12-year-old Atlanta girl named Emma is fighting for her life after being diagnosed with novel coronavirus.
Family members say Emma was initially sent home by doctors after developing a fever. After she added a cough several days later, she was admitted by Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta and is currently on a ventilator but in stable condition.
Researchers say young children are rarely affected by coronavirus. Emma’s family says she had no underlying health problems before the infection.
