A Staff Member For Senator Carper Tests Positive For COVID-19
This is the seventh confirmed case in Delaware.
Senator Tom Carper’s office confirms a Delaware-based member of his staff is the latest confirmed case of coronavirus in the state. According to officials, the person is a New Castle County woman under the age of 30 who is self-isolating. Carper’s office says the person is not severely ill. She has no traveled to Washington, D.C. recently and had no contact with Senator Carper or other members of congress. Any staff members who came into contact with her while exhibiting symptoms will self-isolate at home for the next 14 days. They will be tested if they become symptomatic.
