WARRINGTON, ENGLAND - JANUARY 04: A seven week old Daschund cross puppy waits to be re-homed at the Cheshire Dogs Home on January 4, 2010 in Warrington, England. The puppy is one of hundreds waiting for a new home at the Manchester and Cheshire Dogs Home and other animal shelters across Britain. There has been a huge surge in the number of abandoned pets over the Christmas and Winter period. (Photo by Christopher Furlong/Getty Images)

I don’t even want to know what else came out of that drain!

An Australian plumber saved a two-day-old puppy after it got lodged in a bathroom drain. The dog named Troopie was trapped for more than an hour under the family home. Joseph Egan came to the rescue but said he initially thought call was a prank. He tracked the puppy’s location using a camera and then cut the pipe before shaking it in a downward motion to dislodge the puppy.
