Update on Cotton: The Black Lab Who Was Recused From A House Fire In Delaware….
She had some special visitors!
The 11 year old black lab, Cotton, who was rescued from a house fire last month, is doing much better. New Castle Paramedics Sgt. Richard Moerman, Paramedic 1st class Matthew Patterson, and paramedic Alexandra Atsidis helped have her life by using an oxygen mask for animals. On Monday, the paramedics and the folks from VCA Animal Hospital who brought her back from the edge of death went to visit Cotton at the Brandywine Valley SCPA to celebrate her recovery. Cotton is still hospitalized but thanks to the support of this community, the SPCA says it should have enough funds to cover her medical bills. The goal is to reunite her with her family. She looks so grateful! Hope she gets to go home soon!
