Meetings are a fact of life for a lot of us at work!SurveyMonkey did a survey of 757 workers for Clockwise to find out how people REALLY feel about them. Among the results:

  • They said Tuesday was the best day to meet, named by 29 percent, while Monday was the worst day, at 47 percent, followed by Friday at 40 percent.
  • Arriving late was considered the biggest meeting taboo, with others including phone usage, interrupting, having no agenda and eating.
  • Off-topic conversations was named the biggest meeting challenge.
  • For what people would rather do than attend a bad meeting, the top responses were go to the dentist, talk politics at a family dinner, or call a cable company and listen interminably to hold music.
