Woman in Subway Sings “Shallow” and WOWS Us All
Comedian Kevin Freshwater took to the subway in London for a segment he calls “Finish the Lyric”. In a clip that has gone viral with over 13 million views, we meet Charlotte Awbery.
When Freshwater approaches her to complete the lyrics to “Shallow” she shocks him as she unleashes a stunning performance of the song.
“I was blown away and lost for words,” Freshwater told TODAY in an email. Freshwater noted that Awbery, who is a professional singer, “seemed like such a genuine and loving person.”
“I’m grateful that I have a platform to be able to showcase her amazing talent to the world,” he revealed.
