VIDEO: Astronaut Reunited with Dog After 328 Days in Space!
Dogs are SO pure!
NASA Astronaut Christina Koch spent 328 days in space- the longest spaceflight EVER by a woman. One of the first things she did was reunite with her beloved dog, Sadie Lou, who she fondly calls LBD (little brown dog). The video of the reunion is ADORABLE!
By the way, Christina Koch holds the record for the longest space mission by a woman. She launched into space March 14th of last year, making her mission the second-longest spaceflight in NASA history. While she was at the International Space Station, she conducted six spacewalks and spent more than 42 hours outside the station. According to NASA, her crew conducted hundreds of experiments focusing on biology, technology development, and the search for evidence of dark matter. Koch is also one of two women (Jessica Meir) to have made the first all-woman spacewalk at the International Space Station on October 18th.
