SOMERVILLE, AUSTRALIA - JANUARY 04: Amy Jane greets her dog Prince Caspian after she arrived at the Somerville relief center on January 4, 2020 in Somerville, Australia. HMAS Choules was deployed to help evacuate thousands of people stranded in the remote Victorian coastal town of Mallacoota following fires across East Gippsland. One thousand people boarded the ship, two hundred went staight to Melbourne and the remaining 800 were bussed to Somerville where they were met by family and friends. Two people have been confirmed dead and at least 21 people are missing as fires continue to burn across the state of Victoria. (Photo by Dominic O'Brien/Getty Images)

Happy tails, Monica and Hazel!

A woman was reunited with her missing dog after seeing its picture on a beer can. Monica Mathis’s mixed breed named Hazel vanished three years ago in Iowa when she was just a puppy. Hazel remained missing for years until Mathis saw a Facebook post from Motorworks Brewing, a brewery in Bradenton, Florida, that was advertising four new beer cans with pictures of adoptable dogs.  No one knows how Hazel made her way from Iowa to Florida – a journey more than 1,200 miles long – but shelter workers were determined to bring Hazel home.
