Rihanna’s Navy is still waiting for the Bajan singer’s ninth studio album. They’ve been waiting since 2019, and Bad Gal RiRi has ignored questions regarding the album up until now.

Rihanna recently spoked with ET and addressed the delay of the album, R9. Well, not really. The “Diamonds” singer continued to play into antagonizing her fans.

“Dot dot dot. To be continued,” said RiRi, miming three dots with her fingers. “I like to antagonize my fans a little bit. Well, they antagonize me, too! So, they get it right back.”

Last week, Rihanna jokingly responded to a fan who had asked about R9 on Instagram. “Where is the album?” asked one fan, to which Rihanna replied, “Why have I never seen this one before?”

Last year, during an interview with Vogue, Rihanna detailed what would be the follow-up to 2016’s ANTI. “I like to look at it as a reggae-inspired or reggae-infused album,” she said. “It’s not gonna be typical of what you know as reggae.”
