David Bowie: Previously Unreleased Track ‘I Can’t Read ’97’ Now Streaming
The David Bowie six-track digital EP Is It Any Wonder? is made up of rare and unreleased tracks, and since January 8, a new track will be unveiled every week. This week, “I Can’t Read ’97” is the latest offering from the new Bowie EP.
The track itself was featured on Tin Machine‘s 1989 self-titled debut. Bowie then re-recorded the song as a solo artist in 1996 during the recording sessions for Earthling, but the track was cut from the album. Despite this, a music video was filmed for the track, which is embedded below.
“I Can’t Read ’97” is the second track preview from Is It Any Wonder? following last week’s release of an unreleased version of “The Man Who Sold The World.”
