Delaware Ranks Number 4 for Robocalls!
According to the cell phone plan site ‘Let’s Talk,’ Delaware ranks number four for states hit hardest by robocalls. The number of robocalls Delaware residents receive is estimated to be in the millions! We’re talking about 15.9 robocalls per month for the average Delawarean. Speaking of robocalls, police are warning about a scam! If someone calls saying that your social security number has been “suspended,” they are trying to get personal information from you. Scammers may try to threaten with arrest or fines to try to intimidate victims. These calls should be reported to the social security administration. If there is ever a problem with your social security account, the agency will send you a letter. If SS DOES say you owe them money, you have the right to appeal.
