David Bowie Record Store Day Title, Digital EP of Rare/Unreleased Tracks Announced
On what would’ve been David Bowie‘s 73rd birthday, two new catalog releases have been announced.
ChangesNowBowie, a limited edition collection of previously unreleased material, will come out as part of Record Store Day on April 18. The album was recorded in November 1996 at Looking Glass Studios in New York City as Bowie was preparing for his 50th birthday concert at Madison Square Garden.
The other release is Is It Any Wonder?, a six-track digital EP of rare and unreleased tracks. Starting this week and continuing for the next five weeks, a new track will be revealed. The first track from that EP, an unreleased version of “The Man Who Sold The World”, can be heard below. This track will also be featured on ChangesNowBowie.
