  • Porch pirates are getting bolder by the day. One thief left a note to the homeowner that read “Just a quick little thank you for giving me the opportunity of stealing your package.” Amazon refunded her for the phone charger that was stolen.
  • Delaware State Police are warning people of a scam involving fake checks. The scammer will ask you to deposit a check for an amount that is more than you are owed, and then they will ask you to wire them some of the money back. The fake check will bounce and you will owe the bank money.
  • If your cash doesn’t get stolen this season, it will make a great Christmas gift that nobody will want to regift. A survey revealed that half of participants would prefer the gift of cold hard cash to help pay off debts.
  • If porch pirates, scams and other holiday season woes are stressing you out, experts say the best thing to do is take a nap. NREM sleep can reset your anxiety ridden brain.
  • Members of an Oklahoma Church teamed up with the non-profit RIP Medical Debt and raised 1.6 million dollars to pay the medical bills of more than 1600 people across 13 Oklahoma counties.
