Did You See the Dela-Bear During His Trolley Square Visit?

The Dela-bear was spotted in Trolley Square this morning! He was spotted in the area of Brew HaHa and people in the area were told to shelter in place. Police were hoping to tranquilize it. They did not want to shoot it but they warned if it got too close to residents, they would have no choice. By around 11:15 a.m., it wasn’t clear exactly where the bear was. Wilmington police put out a cryptic statement that roads were no longer closed “as the bear is no longer in our jurisdiction. Residents and motorists can resume normal activity.” Here is the full story.
