Justin Bieber Apologizes For Past Racist Remarks: ‘I Was Uneducated’
Justin Bieber has decided to say sorry and is taking a stand against racism. The singer took to Instagram to apologize for his past indiscretions, writing, “When I was young I was uneducated and found myself saying really hurtful things not knowing the power of my words. Racism Is still very prevalent and I want to use my voice to remind we are all human being and all of EQUAL VALUE BEFORE GOD!”
In another post, he wrote, “I’m determined this holiday season to take ownership of all my shortcomings and work on them for myself and the ones I love! What is your goal?”
Multiple racist claims have been made against Bieber in the past. Page Six explains that in 2014, Justin was caught using the N-word while telling a racist joke. Another incident happened in 2009 when the singer changed the lyrics of his song “One Less Lonely Girl” to “One Less Lonely N–r,” while joking about joining the Ku Klux Klan.
