On Dec. 4, rapper and entrepreneur Jay-Z turned 50-years-old and to honor his birthday, he returned his entire back catalog to Spotify.
Hova had previously removed the majority of his studio albums from the platform back in 2017, being that he became part-owner of Spotify's rival, TIDAL, as That Grape Juice reports.
When Jay removed his albums from the platform, he only left Reasonable Doubt, In My Life Lifetime, Vol. 1, Vol 2 Hard Knock Life available.
Following years of exclusivity on TIDAL, Jay-Z's entire catalog is available to Spotify users, including his collaboration with Kanye West, Watch the Throne, The Back Album, and American Gangster.
It's currently unclear if Hov will keep his music on Spotify indefinitely or if it's only available during his birthday.
