Ariana Grande Cancels Show Due To Illness, Gets Advice From Barbra Streisand
Ariana Grande had to cancel her show in Lexington, Kentucky tonight (11/17) due to health issues.
One day after the 26-year-old singer took to her Instagram Stories to tell fans that she had been feeling very sick, she revealed that she would have to cancel tonight’s show.
Yesterday, a fan tweeted concern about her health and she replied, “My head was literally beyond pounding. throat too. but this makes me happy to read. i love y’all and can’t tell u how much i appreciate your kindness. i’ll keep u posted.”
Earlier tonight she tweeted, “thank u for your kindness and love. wish i were with u today more than anything. u have no idea. it sucks feeling like absolute s— but it sucks way more to not be with u all. u mean the world. i hope u truly know. love u.”
Legendary singer/actress/director Barbra Streisand reached out to the singer via twitter with a bit of advice: “Take a strong Vitamin C drink with some Manuka honey and of course get some chicken soup!” Grande responded, “my goodness. love you so so much. thank you my sweetest.”
Grande’s next scheduled show is on Tuesday, November 19, in Atlanta. No word yet as to whether that show will take place as scheduled.
