Pat Sajak Has Emergency Surgery, Vanna White Set To Host ‘Wheel Of Fortune’

Pat Sajak has had emergency surgery and will be unable to host Wheel of Fortune for two weeks.
Wheel of Fortune made the announcement on social media, writing, “The Wheel of Fortune taping on Thursday was canceled because host Pat Sajak underwent successful emergency surgery to correct a blocked intestine. He is resting comfortably and looking forward to getting back to work. Taping resumed today as scheduled and Vanna White has stepped in as host.”
TMZ is reporting that since Wheel of Fortune is currently shooting Disney Week in Los Angeles, Mickey Mouse will fill in and take Vanna’s spot turning the letters.
