Taylor Swift Is Receiving The ‘Artist Of The Decade’ Award At AMAs
Taylor Swift will receive the Artist of the Decade Award at the upcoming American Music Awards. The show made the announcement official on Twitter, writing, “She’s won more #AMAs than anyone this decade… She’s a five-time 2019 #AMAs nominee… And she’s performing at this year’s #AMAs… @Taylorswift13 is our ARTIST OF THE DECADE.”

In a press release, it explains that Taylor holds the record for most American Music Awards wins of any female artist with 23. E! News also points out that Swift has a chance of breaking the record for most wins overall, which is currently held by Michael Jackson with 24.
For the upcoming show, Taylor is nominated for Artist of the Year, Favorite Music Video, Favorite Female Artist – Pop/Rock, Favorite Album – Pop/Rock, and Favorite Artist – Adult Contemporary.
The American Music Awards will be on November 24 on ABC.
