Ozzy Osbourne: New Album Expected in January 2020
Ozzy Osbourne has spent 2019 recovering from a number of health issues, but that hasn’t stopped him from working on a new album that wife/manager Sharon Osbourne says will be coming out sooner than later.
Sharon says in a new interview, “He had a very, very bad accident this year, but he’s getting there. He’s just finished an album, and the album is coming out in January. And he’s doing good. He’s very excited about the duet he did with Post [Malone] and also Travis Scott. It’s doing great. It’s at Top 40 radio, and it’s climbing up every week. It’s doing good.”
Ozzy previously mentioned the new album in an interview he did with U.K.’s The Sun in September where he said, “I’ve made a new album, and it’s helped get me back on track. I was just lying in my own self-pity for months. It’s the greatest album I’ve done.”
The Prince of Darkness was set to return to the road in early 2020 for a European tour after recovering from a nasty fall in his home, but he was forced to postpone those dates due to needing more recovery time. Ozzy’s 2020 European tour dates ran from January through March. His next batch of U.S. tour dates is currently slated to begin in May.
