Walmart Frozen Meat Products Recalled Over Salmonella Concerns

More than 6,400 pounds of frozen meat products are being recalled from Walmart stores over possible salmonella contamination. The recall includes packages of Great Value brand Fully Cooked Original Pork Sausage Patties, Family Size Original Pork Sausage Patties, and Original Breakfast Turkey Patties.   Affected packages will have either "EST. M2206T" or "P-226T" printed on them.  No illnesses have been reported so far.

This comes just a day after we talked about Shoprite recalling quarter pound burgers that may have been contaminated with E.Coli.

Their affected packages are:

  • ShopRite 100% Pure Ground Beef Hamburgers 48 Oz. (16, 3 ounce burgers) UPC 41190-40458 Est #77 Sell by Date: 06/07/2020.
  • ShopRite 100% Pure Quarter Pound Ground Beef Hamburgers 128 0z. (32, ¼ Pound Burgers) UPC 41190-40601 Est #77 Sell by Date 06/07/2020

You can return them to the store for a full refund.
