Lori Loughlin Facing New Charges In College Admissions Scandal
Lori Loughlin is facing new charges in the college admissions scandal.
According to The Boston Herald, the Massachusetts U.S. Attorney’s Office said additional federal bribery charges have been brought against 11 parents for their alleged payments to University of Southern California officials in exchange for their admission.
The extra charge — conspiracy to commit federal programs bribery — is still tied to the original case against Loughlin and her husband, Mossimo Giannulli, which alleges that they paid $500,000 in bribes to get their daughters into the University of Southern California.
Arraignments for the new charges have not been scheduled.
Felicity Huffman is also involved in this college admissions scandal, and she is currently serving her 14-day sentence.
