Possible Cases of Mumps at Ridley High
ABC 6 is reporting that three faculty members and two students are sick, from possible cases of mumps, with others possibly at risk.
The majority of students have been vaccinated.
Delaware County Senior Medical Advisor Dr. George Avetian says mumps is spread through saliva or respiratory secretions.
Symptoms of the mumps include headache, pain in joints, swollen parotid glands, loss of appetite, fever, nausea and dry mouth.
