Stolen Vehicles Seized at Port of Wilmington
16 stolen vehicles with an estimated value of just under $500,000 were seized in Wilmington in fiscal year 2019, ending on September 30.
FirstStateUpdate.com reported that the 16 recovered stolen vehicles eclipsed the Port’s previous high of seven stolen vehicle recoveries from 2012. All but two of these stolen vehicles were being shipped to nations in West Africa.
