For immediate release from the Pennsylvania State Police – Attempted Child Luring

Middletown Township, Delaware County PA

On October 1, 2019, The Pennsylvania State Police was advised of an attempted child luring.  The complainant relayed that on September 18, 2019 at approximately 1700 hours her two sons were playing soccer in their backyard.  An unknown white male walked up to the fence to their backyard and asked the two young boys to leave their yard so he could show them something.  The unknown W/M then began to raise his voice in an attempt to get the boys to leave the yard.  The two boys then ran inside and reported it to a parent.  Due to recent incidents involving child luring, the complainant decided to report it.  The suspect can be described as a white male with gray hair, approximately 5′ 10″, and had a distinct voice which sounded like Goofy from Mickey Mouse.  It was also stated that the W/M was operating an unknown black SUV with unknown registration.

If anyone has any information in reference to this incident, please contact the Pennsylvania State Police at 484-840-1000.
