Ryan Tedder just got the world excited and drastically let it down all in one day.
The One Republic singer and songwriter recently had an interview where he was asked about the band's upcoming album, Human. During the interview, he mentioned that there was going to be a song with Adele and Beyonce, with a piano solo by Chris Martin. Needless to say, the internet freaked out, and outlets like People and Buzzfeed posted about the exciting news.
Unfortunately, it was fake news.
Ryan mentioned on Instagram that he was, in fact, being sarcastic. He posted definitions for words like absurd, kidding, and joke, before confirming that all the headlines are false.
One Republic's Human album, minus Beyonce and Adele, will be out late November.
