Popeyes has decided to play with everyone’s emotions today. The fast-food chain just sent out a tweet telling everyone if they want those sold out chicken sandwiches, they needed to BYOB.
They wrote, “Try our new BYOB!! It’s basically The Sandwich! Only no mayo. Or Pickles. And you bring your own bun… Really it’s just three tenders…”
This comes after Popeyes started the #chickenwars, then got the nation excited about their new chicken sandwich, then announced a few weeks ago that they were sold out. So naturally, people on Twitter are heated.
