For all those fans wondering what’s happening with the new Selena Gomez album, the pop star took to Instagram to give some answers.
On Thursday (Aug. 29), Gomez posted photos from inside the studio on her Instagram Stories. A sign that yes, she is working on new music. In three black and white shots, Gomez allowed fans a behind-the-scenes glimpse of what she’s working on. In one image, she’s writing in a notebook, but the camera never gets close enough to let us see what she’s jotted down.
Unfortunately, she isn’t ready for fans to hear what she’s working on just yet. These clips have no sound. Still, she had a message for her over-eager fans. “Just so you know,” she wrote in a shot of a mixing board. “I see your comments and I’m working on it.”
The rainbow emoji at the end is a nice touch. Perhaps, it’s her letting fans know there will be gold at this end of this one in the form of new music.
This would be Gomez’s first album since 2015’s Revival.
