Normani Drops The ‘Motivation’ Video And Fans Go Crazy
R&B singer Normani recently dropped the visual to her single “Motivation,” which paid homage to the early 2000s, and her fans went crazy.
In the video, Normani is also paying homage to videos by artists such as Beyonce and Britney Spears, among others.
The beginning of the video shows a young black girl watching BET’s iconic music video show 106 & Park, where Normani’s video is set to premiere.
Fans of Normani have taken to social media to express their approval and excitement about the video that some are regarding as great homage to veteran R&B singers, “chocolate girls,” and plus size women as well.
Besides receiving praise from fans, Normani also received a ton of positive feedback from her peers like Kehlani, Kelly Rowland, Ella Mai, Halsey, as well as others who are a part of the entertainment industry.

Y’all don’t understand. I cried watching this video of Normani re-making scenes from videos I grew up watching — just with more chocolate girls. This would have meant everything to me.
